ll of the Botavie products are "Spécialités de comptoir pharmaceutiques" (Over the counter pharmaceutical specialties) as per the classification of the l’Office Intercantonal de Contrôle des Médicaments (OICM) which is the authority for pharmaceutical products in Switzerland.
The compounds are made of plants and natural substances free of chemical pesticides and / or fertilizers.

The capsules contain natural excipients in order to facilitate their processing. They never contain more than 10 % of excipients, therefore never less than a 90% proportion of the capsule are made of plants. This means at least 90% of active principle.
